MARACQ is seeking operators for marine gravimeter and magnetometer equipment on board seismic vessels working worldwide. Candidates must prove ability to work independently and cooperate well with other departments.

Contract position, start June 2024

Location: vessel based, offshore, worldwide

Relevant experience: seismic observer, seismic navigator, operator of marine magnetometer and/or gravimeter

Responsibilities

Manage all activities related to acquisition of marine gravity data, including mobilization and demobilization. Equipment maintenance, production reports and coordinating with other vessel departments.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience working on seismic vessel.

Fluent in English, good verbal and written communication skills.

Experienced in use of computers with Windows operating system and standard MS Office.

Basic offshore training and medical certificate in good standing.

Previous experience with marine gravimeter and/or magnetometer equipment is desired but not a requirement. Training will be provided for the specific equipment being used.
